The Beauty of In-Between: Trusting the Unclear Seasons
Greetings,
As May ends and Autumn fades, we cross the quiet threshold into Winter. This in-between space can feel uncertain, a little foggy, and even a bit uncomfortable. But it also offers us something rare: a gentle invitation to pause, let go of the need for answers, and turn inward.
Over the past few weeks on Instagram, I’ve been reflecting on this theme of “Living in the In-Between,” as a reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out. Some seasons are simply for resting, trusting, and being in process.
1. Living in the In-Between: Why It’s Okay Not to Have the Next Step
There’s wisdom in the unfinished parts of your life. This season asks for compassion, patience, and presence. The pause you’re in may feel unfamiliar, but it’s a space where deep listening and quiet growth can take root.
Reflection prompts:
Where in my life am I being invited to be present, not perfect?
Can I give myself permission to be unfinished right now?
2. When Clarity Doesn’t Come Quickly: Trusting the Fog
Sometimes, the way ahead isn’t obvious and that’s okay. In the fog, we learn to slow down and feel our way forward, gently and without force. These moments of uncertainty can teach us to trust our inner pace and lean into patience instead of pressure.
Reflection prompts:
What helps me slow down when I feel unsure?
How can I show up with gentleness instead of urgency?
What if the pause isn’t a detour, but part of the way forward?
A Final Thought
As we prepare to step into a new season, may you carry this with you: it’s okay if things aren’t clear yet. Clarity will come in its own time, remember to trust the process.
This is The Beauty of In-Between: Trusting the Unclear Seasons.
Warm regards,
Angelique
