As we settle into winter, July offers a perfect opportunity to pause and take stock. 

In this month’s newsletter, I invite you to take time to Reflect on your journey, Assess your current state, and Reset your course and intentions for the months ahead. By considering a few thoughtful questions, you can gain valuable insights and set the stage for meaningful progress in the coming months.


REFLECTING INVOLVES LOOKING BACK ON THE PAST

Personal Growth: 

  • What were my biggest accomplishments over the past six months?

  • Which moments brought me the most joy or satisfaction, and why?

  • What challenges have I faced, and how did I handle them?


Learning Experiences: 

  • What have I learned from my successes and failures?

  • Were there any significant turning points or breakthroughs?

  • How have my values or priorities shifted?


Self-Awareness: 

  • How did I feel during the most challenging and rewarding times? 

  • What emotions have I experienced most frequently?

  • How did I manage stress and maintain balance?


ASSESSING FOCUSES ON EVALUATING THE CURRENT STATE

Current State:

  • Where do I stand in relation to my goals and aspirations?

  • What are my biggest strengths and how have they benefited me?

  • What areas of my life or work need more attention or improvement?


External Factors:

  • What external factors or circumstances have influenced my progress?

  • How have my relationships and support networks impacted my journey?


  • What opportunities or threats currently exist that I should be aware of?


Resource Evaluation:

  • What resources (time, energy, skills) do I have at my disposal?

  • How effectively am I using my resources?

  • What additional resources or support might I need?


RESETTING INVOLVES PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING CHANGES

Goal Setting:

  • What specific, achievable goals do I want to set for the next six months or longer?

  • How do these goals align with my long-term vision?

  • What steps can I take immediately to start working towards these goals?


Behaviour and Habit Changes:

  • What habits or routines do I need to adjust or establish?

  • How can I create a daily or weekly plan to support my goals?

  • What strategies will help me stay motivated and accountable?


Overcoming Obstacles:

  • What potential challenges might I face in pursuing these goals?

  • How can I prepare for or mitigate these challenges?

  • What will I do differently this time to ensure success?


These questions are designed to guide reflection, assessment, and purposeful resetting, providing a framework for personal and professional growth. Coaching can support you during this process.
